Why did the _____ cross the road? An introduction

The idea for the title of my blog came to me in the midst of a ride across Maharashtra somewhere around February 2019. I was riding down through a village near Jawhar with absolutely terrible roads and amidst blistering heat, and lo’! Out come an entire family of hens with mama Chicken leading the way and several tiny little chicks strutting close behind. I had to brake and swerve to avoid running over those cuties, and it was then I decided that I would title each blog post with an animal that would invariably cross the road.

Seemed like a good idea then, not as much when I’m typing it down now.
